Two Ministers Talking... 50 Years Later- WE'VE DECIDED TO BE UNITED

Unity in the USA: It’s Been Too Long… But It’s Not Too Late— A New Day Has Arrived

The Billion Dollar Question: When is it too late to remain divided?                                                 The One Dollar Answer— When there are not enough people around who care enough to fix it.

Its 50+ Years Later: People of Faith—People of God… Where are We Now?
Next year marks 50 years beyond the ‘assassination’ of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and 53 years beyond the ‘assassination’ of Minister Malcolm X.   These two men… died way too soon… for causes, way too insane… but yet for a purpose, not seen or understood as serious enough.    And by no means were they the only ones.
Way beyond a catchy phrase and marketing appeal, this utterance, “WE’VE DECIDED TO BE UNITED,”  is for the true soldiers and warriors who are done with seeing the senseless murders, the divide and disharmony among the so-called civilized and sanctified in our nation and in our neighborhoods and want to repent, renew and rejoin a call to action based on commitment and decision to be the change.  Who’s in?  I’m first in line.
What Would They See… What Would They Say… What Would They Do… What Would They Pray?
      {The Preachers First and then- all the Rest… Say it Together— We’ve Decided To Be United.}

What did we learn from these sacrificial leaders (if anything) regarding strategies combating disunity in our nation during their lifetimes? What will we put in practice 50 plus years later so that we can stop repeating the mistakes made in their day and— the sometimes greater mistakes made since they have been gone? Why do nothing different and see our youth and next generation continuing to die young, way too early because of hate, disunity and the lack of patience and faith needed for people to stop long enough to reason together and unite for the greater good for us all?
This decree and call to action is about a choice.  A thought process that concludes with a powerful declaration turned into ‘action now.’  Life is short and lessons learned as early on as possible can allow us to get the most out of it.

This article is written to present a moment prior the end of 2017 for us to; reflect the past... inspect the present… and project the future regarding how and why we should close the divide and ultimately eliminate such divisiveness in our nation.

Sadly, here’s what we are seeing today because of many incomplete thought processes that keep us divided in families, churches, communities and countries and other meaningful ‘should be’ joint-resolutions, that are being forfeited way too often.

~FIVE MISGUIDES THAT DIVIDE (and are coming to an end)
1.       One Church/Denomination has it right- the others have it wrong
2.       One Ethnic group is still superior to the other ethnic groups claiming their lives matter (most) and denouncing the truth that “All Lives Matter”
3.       One Political party is ‘the only one’ that is right and best for the nation
4.       One Nation has it right and is superior to all other nations
5.       The Pride (of arrogance) that puts out the ‘lamp of reasoning’ and darkens discussions between individuals and organizations from seeing the rays and the light of hope that can bring about collaborative progress.
Is any of this true?  If so, how long does this truth last before it rotates back to the next group and then on to another, but most importantly what would happen if we all thought about the commonality that we all have in being human beings, all from one blood, and all created with divine purpose to fulfill?   What happens when we see the value of being committed to being united for a greater good?
This and more is what I along with others will share as we discuss and engage the God-ordained ‘now movement’—   “WE’VE DECIDED TO BE UNITED.”

Most of you know the account of the man in the bible who had gone 38 years waiting for the ‘right moment’ to be healed.  St. John 5:1-9 has the record.  It a similar way… it had been too long, but it was not too late.  So is it now regarding unity in the USA.  Let’s step up and seize the moment.

"And Be Not Overcome By Evil; But Overcome Evil With Good"
Why a Commemorative Bible 50 Years beyond the Final Prophecy and Assassination of Rev. Dr. MLK-Jr
One day in prayer... I was thinking/praying...
  • What if we had a bible that contained a commentary on how God used his prophets and spiritual leaders throughout the ages to show how love overcomes hate- EVERY-TIME?
  • What if 100,000 pastors would preach from this bible for one year on the subjects of love and non-violence?
  • What if there was a curriculum that taught on diversity from the ONE NATION (under God) Kingdom view? And yes, there is one already written and ready to upload online.
  • What if, in honor of the 50th Commemoration of the Final Prophecy and Assassination of the 20th Century Prophet-Pastor-Preacher, Rev. Dr. MLK-Jr., we could release this Bible?
  • What if national ministries and spiritual organizations would get behind this like sport enthusiast back their leagues and their famous athletes and invest millions of dollars?
Finally- What if... "what if" becomes "NOW THAT?

Introducing... The Legacy 5.0 Commemorative Bible
What better way during the 50th MLK Commemoration than to honor the works of God through His 20th Century Prophet, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., than by placing his works in a commemorative bible? It makes clear that Rev. King was doing the works of a Biblical Rights activist as God ordained him to guide a nation through the justice objectives of the Civil Rights Movement.  What better time than know to advance the Civil Rights Movement: From Prophecy to Promise?

How does God see us? How does He orchestrate the assignments of His prophets, pastors?  And on the 50th observance of the final prophecy and assassination of His servant, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., how did God shape the social justice and Biblical Rights advocate?

The Legacy 5.0 Commemorative Bible examines the 'Divinity Perspective,’ of the God of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and conveys what God was up to during The Civil Rights Movement.  It is authored by Rev. Arthur L. Hunt, Jr., D.D., a pastor and Biblical Rights activist who played a key role in the first three years of the Federal MLK Holiday from Memphis, Tennessee, including his deliverance of the opening tribute for debut of the National Civil Rights Museum.  Since 1989, Hunt has produced national tributes to Rev. Dr. King and has documented these ‘prophecy to promise’ events.   The Legacy 5.0 Commemorative Bible features multiple accounts of what happened beyond King’s ‘final prophecy’ delivered on April 3, 1968, from Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. Hunt worked for and was a member of this institution for over 40 years. The College of Aspiring Artists (where Hunt is Founder) is partnering with a nationally known publishing company to release the bible in 2018 along with its companion app.

Why a New Bible Version including Rev. Dr. King?  No, Rev. Dr. King is not ‘the only one’ who has done great works beyond the writing and printing of the first King James Version on record since 1611, but he is the ‘only one’ that God has placed at this level of honor to bring America and the nations back to him through the works of His exemplary prophet and Biblical Rights leader.  Rev. Dr. King is also the only modern-day American who is not a President with a federal holiday designated in his honor. Monuments on the National Mall are built to honor Presidents, yet Dr. King’s legacy is memorialized on the National Mall.

50 years after the ‘prophecy to promise' timeline, what has been fulfilled and what remains for this generation to accomplish? What does God want us to learn and where do we find the answers?  For the first time in history, this Biblical textbook places and traces’ the works of Rev. Dr. King back to the genesis of his calling.
“No one owns anyone. The scripture says that we have been ‘bought with a price.’ Only Sovereign God, the creator/owner, has the ultimate blueprint and guide to our God-ordained destinies.  This blueprint is the BIBLE. It's God's Word from throughout the ages. We all came from God, we all were created equally by Him, and all of us are on are way back to Him.  What's different today? It's the same God, but 'it's a different world.’  This bible, emphasizing ‘The God of Rev. Dr. King,’ will be a tool to help people now, and for generations to come know that the God of MLK-JR,  is the same God of the prophets in the bible and— everyone who desires can have access to this same God…TODAY!”  Rev. Arthur L. Hunt, Jr., D.D.

GUNS— GOVERNMENT AND THE GOSPEL: Which One is the TRUE Solution to a "Nation Gone Wild?”

YES... It Always Begins and Ends with- 'WE THE PREACHERS!'

The Alarm to Overcome Hate/Evil/Violence Has Rang and the Snooze Setting has been Disabled!  It's not the guns, the government, religion or religious prayers that will change the culture. This can only be done with a power that is higher than humanity. Only Love Can Overpower Evil/Hate.
“Inaugurating the nation with the first bible with Rev. Dr. King’s image on the cover, both spotlights and arms millions of people with ‘the most powerful weapon of love and hope that Rev. King used to convey— how God can use a man to bring the nation back to him.’ Own it! Read it… and see how God brings forth greater use from you.” Philippians 1:6

"Where Do We Go From Here?"  Answer:  "WE'VE DECIDED TO BE UNITED"   And we will put it in demonstration mode from the MLK Memorial.  We will transform this Spiritual Landmark into a Pulpit of Hope and Deliverance to continue the work of the Rev. Today in America we are seeing way too much violence.  Guns in our schools and on the streets filling the nation with murders is causing many to panic and go into deep levels of depression and outrage.  People are crying and looking for a way out and a way up.   We see the absence of God (LOVE) in many places and many are saying it's time to bring America back to God.   How will we do it?

Hate is at an all-time high and love at an all-time low. Where are the venues of hope and restoration? One for sure in the MLK Memorial. The Martin Luther King Memorial honors the works of God through his servant, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
During the MLK50 Commemoration of Rev. King's final prophecy and ultimate assassination (1968-2018), our college in partnership with other organizations are presenting gatherings at the Memorial on selected dates, April-August to pray and bring love, unity and honor to the highest level we can accomplis…
